Etymology

The term break is widely recognized as derivative of the break ("rotura") in a song that was dancing; Although however, breakdance, refers to the movement of the body, the person's ability to practice. Just in the part more strongly where the dancers showed his greatest exaltation. In the documentary, "The uncensored Kids", a hip hop pioneer DJ Kool Herc explains jargon "break" - a transition to dementia - makes a compliment to the explosive behaviour of the Bboys (Break-Boys), name used by him, for the first time, to refer children who danced in their festivals during their "Breaks". The DJ's improved ability to prolong this cut with the use of multiple dishes.
